Finding Courage in God's Presence

Devotional
Sometimes our greatest battles aren't fought in public arenas but in quiet moments of doubt and fear. When Paul faced his darkest hour, Jesus didn't offer complex solutions or lengthy explanations. Instead, He simply stood by Paul and said, 'Have courage.' This brief encounter changed everything. God's presence was enough. The same holds true for us today - we don't always need answers or explanations, we just need to know God is with us. His presence provides the courage we need to face whatever lies ahead.

Bible Verse
"The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, 'Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.'" - Acts 23:11

Reflection Question
When was the last time you felt God's presence giving you courage in a difficult situation?

Quote
The following night, the Lord stood by him and said, have courage. Two words, have courage. Notice Jesus didn't say, hey, Paul, what's the matter, buddy? Why are you feeling this way? What's going on? What's happening? He says, have courage. In other words, I see what's going on. I know what's happening here. But stay the course, because I'm here with you.

Prayer
Father, thank You for being near even in my darkest moments. Help me find courage in Your presence and trust that You are with me always. Amen.
