Jesus and The Disciples Pt 2
Scripture Reading:
Luke 9:1-3 “When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. He told them: ‘Take nothing for the journey—no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, no extra shirt.’”
Reflection:
Jesus sent the disciples with nothing but faith in God to provide for their needs. This taught them complete dependence on God for their mission. Trusting God when resources seem scarce is challenging but essential for effective ministry. When we obey, we open the door for God’s miraculous provision.
Application:
Identify one area where you struggle to trust God for provision. Spend prayer today, surrendering your concerns to Him, and take a practical step of faith in that area.
