Discipleship Family Ties

Scripture Reading: 
“Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: ‘Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me... I will go to the king when this is done, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.’” — Esther 4:15-16

Reflection:
Inspired by Mordecai’s counsel, Esther made a faith-based decision. She called for fasting, recognizing her need for God’s guidance and strength. Discipleship leads others to deeper faith, empowering them to act with courage. Mordecai’s guidance prepared Esther to be bold in her leadership, even risking her life for God’s purposes.

Application:
Pray for those you disciple to grow in their faith and courage. Encourage someone today to take a step of faith, relying on God’s strength and not their own.
